Fast And Professional East Coast Air Conditioning Repair Services Get You Back To Normal

Your air conditioner functions to do more than just cool. It also pulls moisture from the air to reduce the humidity in your home. In areas close to the coast, moisture in the air is typically salt-laden. Salt then builds up and corrodes the coils in your air conditioning unit, making it impossible for it to function properly. This process occurs over time, meaning that it can sap your air conditioner any time during the summer, including one of those hot and muggy days where the air just seems to sit. When you are looking for air conditioner repair in Westchester, it is important that you find a company that will come out to help you no matter what the weather is when you call.

One of the best services an air conditioning company can offer is a 24-hour emergency line. This service is so important for those ultra-hot and muggy days where the wind doesn’t blow in from the Atlantic to cool things down. You need to know that when you call for an emergency air conditioner repair, your call will be answered no matter what time of day or night your air conditioning breaks down. Don’t risk having your next summer get-together ruined by soggy puff pastry that refuses to rise and melted buttercream on your cakes. Instead, get your air conditioning up and running again so that you don’t have to rearrange your entire schedule.

Just because you live in one of the wealthiest counties in the state does not mean you want to overpay for services rendered. Many repair companies do not keep a ready supply of commonly used parts on their trucks, forcing you to pay for two or more service calls as the repairperson requires one to diagnose the problem, and at least one other to make a parts run. Always ask for an estimate to be sure that you are getting the right repair at the right price. If you don’t understand your invoice, ask to be sure that there are no unnecessary or hidden charges. Professional repair people assist your needs and do the job right the first time.

When it comes to getting air conditioning repair services, make sure that you are getting the best service. They should be willing to come to you and be able to ensure your satisfaction on the services rendered. Check with A. Borrelli their prices are very reasonable.

Premier Landscaping Services In Westchester, NY

Unlike some western states, noted for their milder climates and consistent seasons, lawn care in northern climates can be a bit trickier. Oftentimes, there are seasonal extremes between heat and cold, and it can be difficult to maintain a lawn that looks beautiful throughout the year. As seasons change and as weather shifts, so do lawn care needs. When deciding on how to care for a lawn year-round, the best course of action is usually planning and finding the right landscaping company. Not surprisingly, finding the right landscaping company could mean the difference between a green, lush lawn and a patchy embarrassment.

When looking into lawn care, find skillful professionals that work throughout to Westchester County. A skillful team of landscape experts would focus on providing exceptional lawn care services that both enhance a property’s beauty through nature, while providing quality care and maintenance. It is these features that are important when choosing a landscaping company. Far too often, discount rates can lead to low-rate work and in the end, it’s really the property that suffers. Choosing a company that understands the regional climate, the needs of the green space, as well as the needs of the neighborhood is paramount when deciding on a lawn services provider.

A well-manicured lawn can increase property values, and conversely, a green space that is overgrown and/or dying can detract from an overall positive impression of a space. Landscaping isn’t just about green grass, and in areas such as Westchester County, where snow is a resident for a good part of the year, finding a way to make a property shine though a blanket of ice crystals is a skill. A good landscaping company will consider not just laying sod, but how that sod will be used to create a retreat; lighting not used just to highlight a path, but to create a sense of wonder. An overall vision and an eye for creativity are hallmarks of a landscaping company that has the right foundation.

Total Turf Landscaping provide services to both residential and commercial properties in both Westchester County, NY and Fairfield County, CT. Seek out professional installation teams that are capable of handling a broad spectrum of jobs, ranging from lawn care, sod installation and maintenance, to masonry work and construction.  Knowledgeable and capable landscaping crews are a valuable resource in a neighborhood rich with lush greenery and enviable lawns.

What To Do If You Have a Termite Problem

Termites. Is there a scarier word for a homeowner to hear than termites? (Besides maybe "mortgage?") Termites are a constant threat for any homeowner. Small as they are, they can do a significant amount of damage to your home in as little as 6 months, and they can prove almost impossible to spot. Sometimes called "silent destroyers," they can be secretly hiding in or near your home without any immediate signs of damage. Given that your home is often your most significant investment, it's pretty scary to think that termites could be eating away at your home right now!

You have to know how to spot possible infestations.

There are a few tried and true ways to spot possible termite infestations in and around your home. A mature termite colony will sometimes be accompanied by temporary swarms of winged termites around doors and windows or in the soil near your home. These swarming termites are especially attracted to light, and are usually active in the spring. Other signs of a possible termite infestation include cracked or bubbling paint, discarded wings, mud tubes on the outside of your house or in crawlspaces, and wood that emits a hollow sound when tapped. Like all creatures large and small, termites also leave behind droppings, called frass. Termite frass can come in a variety of different colors, depending on the type of wood that the termite has been eating, but if you start finding mysterious tiny piles of pellets around crawlspaces or basements, you might have a termite problem. In other words, if you see a pile, and you sweep it up (thinking it's just dust), and the pile returns in a few days or weeks, you probably have a termite problem in your home.

Example of termite damage

I’ve had first hand experience with termites and I know what they can do.

I own a townhouse in Olathe, and I'm on the Board of Directors for our Homes Association, so I've gotten to see first-hand not only the damage that termites can do, but also how difficult they can be to spot or get rid of. Since most termites nest in the ground, traditional sprays and other methods employed by exterminators are often not enough to get all the termites, which means that the problem just comes right back. Plus, with townhouses, there's an added danger: Since the units are connected together, if one unit gets an infestation, chances are they all will.

We turned to the go-to guys for termites in KC.

That's why when we had a termite problem, we turned to the good folks at Augustine Services, the go-to guys for termite control in the Kansas City area since 1966. Their Termite Service Specialists brought in top of the line bait systems and insecticides from BASF Pest Control Solutions. BASF is the world's leading chemical company, and so they know what they're doing, and the guys at Augustine Services know how to put their tools to work. They found all of our termite colonies and took them out, and we haven't had a termite problem since.

Termites can be a pretty scary proposition for a homeowner, but not when you've got the right people in your corner. So if you suspect you might have a termite problem in Overland Park, Olathe, Leawood, Lenexa, or Kansas City, call the experts at Augustine Services and let them put your mind at ease!
